I've got a 1997 P Reg, had 13000 on the clock when I bought in Dec 1999, it has now done 112,000 and still going strong!

my 96 P 8v had 89k and my current 16v 97 P has 83k. I reckon the average is about 75k as most polo drivers tend to be woman or have full service to

agreed, they don't tend to do quite as many miles

you'll see the 1.4 8v engines and 1.0 engines do about 150k if treated right! My old 1.0 is at 140k and the guy abuses it every day!

My 1st 6N 1.4 CL R reg (1997) has done 82k when it sold 2 years ago. My current R reg (1998) 16v has done 50k so far, so I reckon yours is still low mileage for its age!! No worries

5k when i got her a year and a half ago. about 76k now. Lots of miles, though i do practically live in my car lol. Its a 1.4 8v SE/GL/open air. Papers and insurance are very confused with that label lol.

Just realised i've been racking up the miles like crazy on mine.

Had 79k when bought and now after 6 months its 83.8k, is that high?

5k miles in 6 months is average, or just below average, I'm doing about 12k every 6 months :(
