Exhaust emission warning lamp :(

Hi, seems its one problem after another for my car :( was driving today and then the exhaust emission warning lamp came on... anyone know what could be causing this?

A number of things. Mine was the lambda probe

Nothing to worry about though

^^^ same lambda probe, if your worried about it get hold of vagcom and check it out

Is it ok to drive with it on? And is the lambda probe expensive?

no, there not expensive, if your looking to get hold of a new probe, get one of these:

I dont know what is wrong with it yet though... been told it could be one of several things :( Will I do any damage while driving it with the exhaust emissions light on?
