Why the hell is this goin so cheap?? Looks a really nice example and tastefully modified! The BBS RM's alon should bump up the price a bit!

Maybe because it's modified is the reason it isn't selling. I wouldn't really buy a modified car, that's why I'm putting my Polo back to standard when I get around to selling it.

Also, I'm not too sure on the following modifications:

- Superchiped*
- Ecko tech valve*
- The numberplate (does he run it all the time?)

There are examples of better GTI's out there.

*both are his spelling mistakes, not mine.

The Ecotech valve is definitely something to be avoided IMHO.

I posted up a long long time ago when a colleague at work picked up a 106 GTi that had a Powerboost Valve fitted, the old thread is here and there are some interesting and informative replies from bstardchild!

I imagine an Ecotech valve is much the same as a Powerboost Valve if not identical?

yeh but i'v seen more extensively modifie cars sell for ALO more.....and i'm pretty sure you wouldt put your price that low becasue its had them mods....it would still in theory make the car more valuable.

Niot to burst your buble mate, But a whole Lota GTi's have Recon Boxes, as there like Choclate, just do a bit of searching on this forum and you'l see, also shouldnt matter if professionally done!

The guys gearbox has been reconditioned as is probably still playing up, so he has priced the car cheap, in order to cut his losses.
