Rear Disks as Standard

Could anybody tell me which 9n's come with Rear Disks as Standard ?

I think it was all sport models - i could be wrong.

my 02 1.4 tdi sport has them.

Hi there, the sport models have rear discs as standard. Mine's an SE model with ESP which has to have rear discs in order for the system to function.

kk thanks, what are sports models, any model with 's' at the end rather than 'e' etc.

it will be listed as sport - s is another spec level

I know no 1.2's have them but unsure which 1.4's actually have disks :S

I thought that back in 2002, all 1.4s and upwards had rear disks - ie only the 1.2s had drums in UK. My wife's car has ESP but I think that it would have been supplied with rear disks even if I had not specified ESP as an option.

Correct, all 1.4 engines and above (except 1.9 SDI) came with rear discs regardless of trim level.

This is what i thought but i have seen a 1.4 5dr near me with drums :s lol

Being a sad b****rd, I still have a 2003MY catalogue and GaryUK is spot-on.

Grrr why did they change that for the 9n3 then, i have a 1.4 with drums on the rear!

probably to save them some cash mate

on the plus side you wont have to replace 4 discs just the 2.
