Settings for tracking after 40mm drop?????

Post by spudracker »

Hi all,
I'm doing the tracking on my 2002 TDI Sport 1.9 Polo in the morning with a four wheel measuring system at work.
The only problem is, there are only 2 sorts of measurements...One for standard and one for sports(which it is set upto at the mo) :?
I have recently lowered the car by 40mm, which is making the camber of the wheels wrong, therefore the tyres are just wearing on the inner egde.
So the question is does anyone know what the settings/measurements need to be
Any ideas would be muchly appreciated :D

I did mine exactly as the book said, no other adjustment.

do you mean it's currently reading the sports measurement, or it was? put it back to the normal setting if I were you.

doesn't wear on the inner edge mean it's toed in too much?

Would it not be toed out if its wearing on the inside edges??

Mine wore like that and then I replaced the front wishbone - rear bushes.
Problem fixed.

Thanks for your suggestions.
I've sorted it now. i put i back to Sports settings and it was toed out by quite a bit. Plus we did see the n/s bush was getting worn.
It drives spot on now :D
