insurance
I just rang up my insurance company, and they told me I am not allowed no more then 3 modifications to the car, have any of u guys been told that, and is there any way around it apart from changing companies.
I've never heard anything like it - phone round a few companies.
I currently have four mods declared on mine (wheels, alloys, grille, suspension). Only "hassle" (meaning = sorted out on the phone, the phone call just took a bit longer) was referring to their broker to see if the grille would affect the premium (it didn't).
Plus, my renewal is this month and it just went *down* by £100
.
THis is directline, btw.
Deek.

You declared your sub woofer as a mod?
Subs etc are covered under your ICE cover (most insurers now cover ICE up to £500)
I'd check this with your insurers, because I've never referred to any of my ICE when listing modifications... All I've said is "Is my ICE covered?"
Is this 3-Mod rule because you are young?
Check with your insurers about the Sub mate... you might be able to swap that for something like suspension if you ask nicely!
