GTI bumper and headlamp washers

I was checking my new bumper yesterday and at the front it doesn't have the holes for the headlamp washers. However it sort of has markings behind it. The bumper was ordered off my chassis number so should be right. Do they all come like this?

I *think* thats how they come, and the bodyshop then has to cut the holes for the washers based on the markings on the underside of the bumper?

I haven't had a new bumper so couldn't tell you how they come.

However I do remember the edges of the hole(s) on my bumper being quite sharp/rough, so would assume they are cut out. It doesn't obviously matter as they won't be seen under the covers.

I just hope a bodyshop doesn't cut them too big so gaps are seen under the covers

with the factor of the cut being hidden i doubt you;d even need a specalist for it!, just get sum1 whos good on a jigsaw and use a blade suitable for plastic

It's the same part number fo all 6n2's, so it's a cut out job.

well mouse if the bodyshop cut it too big, thats there fault and they would need to make the relevent changes
