mk2 polo breaks

right need help and advice on doing my breaks

went to gfs and got some disc's which r vented ones got them home and then got told by my machanic that my normal calipas wont fit them but i have been told that mk2 golf ones will fit is this true

if u anyone has any ideas that would be great

think you'd be better off getting the correct discs! as far as i'm aware, all mk2 polos had solid disks!

to convert to golf calipers, you may need to change the carrier for the caliper and some other odds and sods! i'm not 100% sure on exactly what you need but i'd say you have the wrong discs.

Hopefully someone might be able to shed a little bit more light on the subject.

i'm i'm thinking right, the later mk2's had the same brakes as the mk3's, so G40 brakes could be an option? :wink: this is just from memory, i could be completely off the mark!

i have a set of brakes with disc'c if your interested

i do know abit about polo's as i have had a few in the last9yrs and rebuilt a few too
