Steering wheel scraping noise

when i was out driving yesterday all of a sudden my steering wheel has like a scraping sound when you turn it as if something is stuck just behind the airbag housing and it feels like the power steering is affected?

I cant see anything there, havent checked out the fluid levels yet but anyone got any ideas?

i have a simalir sound but its not affacted my steering, ive taken off the air bag and steering wheel and cleaned it all and checked the steering rack but its still there i now take no notice of it as it cant be any thing major.

It may be the small metal tab which IIRC supplies either a positive or neg supply to the horn. It has to supply constantly so makes contact to a ring which turns when you turn the steering wheel. Some light grease or oil should do the trick.
