central locking - windows wind up automatically?

hi guys, i spoke to tomo who said his windows wind up automatically when he locks the car, apparently i need to reset my central locking somehow to get it to work? any ideas? something about putting the key in and doing something lol

You can do it by putting the key in the door lock then turning and holding it. That drops or raises both driver and passenger windows.

i used to be able to put the key in the door with windows open, lock with the key and keep hold of the lock button on the fob till the window shut and it would work but you had to keep pushing the lock button every time to move the window a couple cm up till it closed.
i didnt know that the gti had total enclosure alarm (meaning that when you lock it all the windows/sun roof (if your lucky im not

) would close automatically) if you didnt know what it meaned that is.
