GTI Xeon Headlights

Who changes them and who keep them the same or who keep them but changes the bulb becuase i might want to change mine, if you guys couold post some pix please.

They're so good, everyone keeps them. You'd need to have more money than sense to want to change the main xenon bulb. What would you want to change them to?

People often change the small sidelight bulb though, to white leds.

Well thats what me asking when you change them what do you do etc etc just want ideas becuase personally that why i purchased my GTI otherwise i would have bought 8v mrk 5 just wanna know how to change it to any DIY guide out there ?

Saj changed his OEM headlights on his red GTi project to the FK "angel eye" crystal units but retro-fitted his original xenons into them to have the best of both worlds. So he ended up with xenon dipped bulbs but angel eye sidelights. I gather it was very complex!

99% of owners do nothing to change the xenon parts but do change the sidelight and/or high-beam bulbs for higher-quality or different colour items.

the xenons are so good, i ended up buying a set and fitting onto my non-gti

best thing to do is replace the sidelight bulbs with white LED's but its a bumper off job.
