I've only heard good things about MJ interiors, if you call them up price difference can't be that different though.
Full re-trims
Well if it helps I know a place in North East (Sunderland/Newcastle) where Mitch had his Lupo retrimmed in Porsche leather. Beckham had a Range done there as well, but that's probably way tooooo ffarrr for you.

didnt realise martrimm had stopped doing re-trims... ah well.CymruPolo wrote:Well I phoned a place called Martrim (I think that's the one you're talking about) and they've stopped doing re-trims, they only sell material now. So after asking me where I live they gave me a number of somewhere in Chester called Chester Auto Trim. I gave them a ring and they gave me an idea of a price but couldn't be exact without seeing the car. However, I can't find any reviews about the place so I don't know.MaxZ wrote:Thanks a lot, are you going to go ahead with the place that's like 100 miles away from you?
Another place I'm looking at is Premier Car Trim in Warrington, they come recommended from some people on E38's forum. I've thought about MJ Interiors but I've been told they're seriously expensive 'cause they're so well know on the scene, plus they're obviously very good at what they do.
that place in warrington is excellent. My mate had is v6 4motion trimmed there. they did an awesome job of it too. (it was at vw festival at the weekend on merc rims in case you were there and saw it)
hi guys,
I know of a company that does retrims - a mate of mine used them once for his vr6 highline - they did a cracking job, and had a mobile unit come out to fit it - looked really good too - had "Recaro" stitched into the seats too.
It's a company called Transcal - think they are based in Scotland. I seem to remember him paying just over £1k for it, but that was using Aston Martin Leather (Bridge of Wear leather) - it makes such a difference the type of leather that you use - personally I wouldnt get it done with a lower grade leather - it's just not worth the compromise in quality IMO.
Hope that helps. I'll try and dig up some pics if you like
p.s. that was for front seats, back seats and door cards in a custom colour. (Mulburry to match the highline)

i went to a car show the other day and there was a guy there who had a Saxo VTS and hed had the interior done out and when i was talking to him he said it cost him 350 quid. And although I must admit that the colour was not one that I personally would have gone for..it was a really nice job. It didnt look cheaply done at all. He didnt only have the seats done...he had the box which he had his sub done the lot. And the price included his name being stitched into the headrest of the seats too.
