main beam bulbs

anybody know what size bulb is used for the main beams on the gti?

i've done a search of the forums and googled it but i cant find what im lookin for,

Should be H7 I think. Check vagcat for full diagram

i had a look at that vagcat and got rather confused lol

i've ordered some h7's cause thats what i assumed they'd be but looking through the lens earlier they didnt look like h7's.........

Change the order!

H1 on your full/high beams, D2S on your dipped (xenons)

yeah i thought they were either h1's or h3's
