Another Weird Glitch with my Poorly Polo

Post by TheEggShell »

I have found that my car occassionaly stutters after driving for about 5 - 10 mins. It doesn't do it all the time and only ever does it once.

It just seems like sometihng is sticking which makes the card jurk just the once then everything goes back to normal.

I didn't know if it might be something like the automatic choke sticking???

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

does the car sometimes stall when you are driving??? could be a faulty/dirty speed sensor

yup, when i first got my car i left the garage in kent, drove up the road & it stumbled and then stalled at some lights, i then drove for 150 miles no problem, it used to do it on small journeys..strange

this is the similar sort of thing with my car. but does it when i go up hill or round bends on the straight it is ok i had thought it was a misfire but replaced the plugs and leads and cleaned the throttle body out. could this be the speed sensor i wonder. and if so which wheel is it on and how much for a new one and would it put a fault code on the vag com?
