I did have one of the spoilers for a Mk5 polo - and there are no bolts to my knowledge - Its glued on to the back of the carmarkdavies wrote:does the spoiler have the bolts attached? (i.e a brand new spoiler) or does it have the bolts missing (ripped off/second hand?)
there are magnets in the spoiler to hold it place.

The original Spoiler that carries the part number: 6N0 827 933 D
fits directly on Boot lid that carries the part number: 6N0 827 025 AF
This boot lid is fitted only in GTI models. For non GTI models you have to drill the boot lid. i did this before but i don't recommend this as the aerodynamic differs and this will make the car unstable on high speeds.

Part number for the add on spoiler is 6N0 071 640 B 9AX. This is the one that bonds on and has magnetsumoussa wrote:The original Spoiler that carries the part number: 6N0 827 933 D

Part numbers above are for the GTI spoiler and the one that bolts into the chassis.
