Should say inside the fuel flap mate.

Roughly I tend to run 30 PSI front, 28 PSI back.

Ummm 2.1 bar all round IIRC, my dealership told me 2.0 front and 2.2 rear when I first got the car though.

The sticker on the inside of my fuel flap says 2.4 bar for the front and 2.2 bar for the rear. Thats 34.8 PSI and 32 PSI respectively which I think seems pretty high. But thats what it says so I do it.

I've run my Polo on the 2.4/2.2 Bar readings and its been spot on. I also ran my Golf at similar pressures, and it didn't seem to cause any issues. Steering is a tiny bit lighter, but bonus at least is if I get a puncture it'll take some time to go down.

My VW dealer told me to run 32 front and back assuming only 1-2 people in the car, had no problems so far.

34psi is a little high for the fronts.
Its manageable in the dry but in the wet the car slides on cornering.

The inside of my fuel flap is smooth with no tyre pressures printed on it. Has been since I bought the car! :?
