Hello,

Just registered for this forum, wow you guys have some really nice cars out there.

At the mo ive got the polo 1.4 se fsi 54 reg in indigo blue, looking to get the new polo gti in march, probably get it in shadow blue, what you think?

It is worth spending so much on leather or not.

I'd say that'll be pretty tough since ive never seen a GTi that wasnt Silver, Black, or Red.

Hello, welcome to uk-polos!

I'm just working through the options myself with regards to a new Polo GTI. Shadow Blue is quite a rare colour in all the searches I've done. But they are out there!

The leather is fast becoming an expensive option in my eyes, it is adding in the region of Â£1500 to the cost of the car.

I believe they may be referring to the new Polo GTi

. Well you'll be able to pick your own colour so if your getting it straight from the factory.

Shadow blue sounds nice!

LOL i just took a quick look and was gonna write something like that. welcome mate i had though bout getting the new gti but was pushed away from it as the sales rep tried selling me a poxy 1.2

like i want to down grade myself.

Cheers, yeah i know what you mean pal, i went to a vw showroom a few weeks ago they had a polo gti there (06 reg) I asked to see it and sit in, and he said, yeh just a minute while i get me coat, like he couldnt be arsed. It was like, "well if its not too much trouble". Anyway got to sit in the car, he wasnt really for telling me much about it and i said can u switch engine on and rev it for me, as wanted to hear that lovely noise from exaust. He switched it on and touch the pedal i little bit and then switch it off and locked car. I was like oh rite is that all i get. Not be going there again.

Then he said well we do have this nice 1.4 polo se ere. I said ive already told ive got one of them why would i need another one. What a idiot.

Oh well. You would think that they would try and sell you the car there and then
