6n2 Shortening Door Pins, anyone?

Post by Kristof_clg »

I think i read about it somewhere, shortening the door pins so they look like the VW Golf ones, that don't stick out when the car is locked.

Guide?

Link?

Thanks ;)

this looks quite cool, so its a case of un-screwing the old ones, cutting off the thread on the wire, and glueing new ones back on?

Well, I did it.

I have to say it looks very elegant and smooth, some pics:

dont cut the thread off of it!!! numptys, just take your door card off and shorten it down at the bottom easy as pie! saves you hacking away at the thread!

it's easier just to cut the thread, without removing the doorcard, and you're never going to be pulling on it so it doesn't matter if it's just glued on...
