is der any1 on here with a gti at 19 with 2 years no claims ? im thinking of getting one around december when my policy need renewing, could u tell me wat u pay for insurance? :lol:

do u fink id be able to find one for roughly 3.5k, with roughly 55,000 on clock and fsh ??

Im 19 with 1 years NCB, cost me £1600 fully comp in my name.
I think you'll be lucky to find one that sort of price, unless its in poor condition. Better of saving for a better example mate

I was going to post a similar response, £3.5k is a low price for a good one. There is a silver 5-door in the For Sale section for £2.5k with a broken diff and/or gearbox though :?

Budget up to £4.5k for a good one jason!

4.5k isnt even enough for a good one, 5k will get you a good one.

Depends on how you classify good. My idea of good is one for £6550 with full leathers and only 12k on the clock....not that im suggesting towards anything :lol:

The most I think I paid at 19 was either £1700 or £1800 fully comp

ive just got insured on mine last night 19 with 1 years no claims n it was 1300 with adrian flux which is very good in my eyes. still my mother complains at 300 for her insurance.

It is fairly funny when they complaining about that little :) Although saying that I've been surprised by how much some peeps are willing to pay. The most I've ever paid was about £1100 (different car admittedly). What'd be interesting to find out is what's the highest anyone on here has been willing to pay to insure their Polo :D
