Just out of curiosity as I still have a standard polo. What was the first thing you lot got done to change the look or performance?:) or what you think the first thing that should be done.

Hi dave, first thing i changed was the alloys then took it from there m8, once you buy one thing after that it ends up a bloody addiction lol, i`m skint now :?

I also got alloys - although there was a problem etc. so I ended up lowering first. :)

first thing i did was get a gti rear bumper and have the bumpers smoothed, then got an exhaust to fill the cut out in the back bumper, then i got wheels, but its always best to start with the wheels, they make the biggest difference in a car, and then lower it :)

had the car remapped first then got the bigger wheels to help get the power down as mine has no esp or what ever you call it.

I first lowered it, then buyed xenon. If you dont have alloys get ones before anything else...

apart from little touches (ie- debadging etc) the first major thing i did was fit a strut brace and then got her lowered!

Alloys and lowering are second to last for me. First this i did were replace the grilles, fit foglights, change to Xenon Headlight, then do an audio install.

Completely different order to everyone else on here :p But money didnt always come so easily so I had to everything backwards!

first thing i did was fit a jabba rear anti roll bar, makes a big difference
