my silver BMC

Post by polo_gti21 »

hey there people i have just got my BMC induction kit but opted for the limited edition silver one as i havent seen any1 with one of theses yet. anyway i got a right bargain, i managed to get the kit for £159 inc vat :D
from euro styling.

While i was fitting the BMC i fitted the sturt brace that i got from Si at ed38 (cheers Si) handling is much sharper now and the induction note sounds the mutts nuts.

Good job :D Just make sure the BMC air intake pipe isnt touching any rubber hoses - it will just eat straight through as I found out with my coolant pipe!

lookin good mate! did you have any trouble fitting the strut brace? wen i fitted myn the water coolant has a wierd plug connected to it, which now is rele tight and looks like the wires are under stress. its because you have to relocate the coolant thing with that metal braket

cheers ive checked that no pipes are touching. i had to make a bracket for my collant tank as it was missing from the pack but never mind the fitting was a walk in the park tbh i know the wires your on about but making my own bracket ive taken that into consideration probley done a better job that the original one supplied mate.

Great stuff Ricky! I meant to text and ask how you were getting on with the 'brace as I have located my original invoices etc for if you needed to go to OMP and take it up with them re the missing bracket.

Glad it all went on OK :D

I'm going to miss my BMC (its coming off soon) :? but I'll have turbo power to keep me happy instead :D

Cheers

dont worry mate bout taking the thread. everything went ok making the bracket just took some time to fit as ive been busy at work and playing with a mk5 R32 what a motor :D. Ive Just come back from the ace cafe it was fiat night what a waste of time only went as my brother brought a shty punto gt and he wanted to meet other people. i see a black gti up there parked next to a mk3 golf any1 from here? and just to top it off some tawt fought it would be smart to hand brake it round the rounabout and loose control and come head on with me F""king Fiat drivers
