Have a quick look back through this section and you will see there are a few members who have had theirs remapped.
APR seems to be a preferred option on here, REVO has been called a little aggressive, but the dealer can ease off the boost of REVO to smooth it out a bit. There are loads of re-mappers out there nowadays so do a bit of research. Some are cheaper by quite a bit, but if you want a switchable set up (recommended on a car under warranty for obvious reasons) you will have to pay a fair bit more.
Have a look on sites such as www.seatcupra.net/forums and uk-mkivs.net where there is a wealth of 1.8t information. Bear in mind there is not much on here as the Polo has only had this engine for the last 18months and it's not exactly a common car in GTI form.
seatcupra.net especially is very relevant as the Ibiza which shares the chassis has had the 150 bhp engine for years and years and there are loads of tuned ones out there.
