Should I go larger??

Post by shantybeater »

Hi guys, I'm wanting an opinion on my wheels, I personally like the way they just about tuck into the arches

The other option which won't cost much more is to sell the 1's replace the rims with 2's or 2.5's so I can stick the backs (1.5's) on the front and stick the wideboys on the back. If I do this will I get alot more scrubbing?? and do you think its worth it? will it look better or stick out too much at the front?

Here's a few photos:

is that you in the background thinking about the width of the wheels

anyway i think you get some wider lips just at the back, so they stick out a bit with streched rubber that would finish your car off nicely

Are you on Coilovers? if the rears scrub you wont notice if you bring it up a few mm with wider rears.

Anyway, I voted for yes, it looks great as is, but the perfect stance would be 7 up front 7.5 rear, that would be just 8)

haha unfortunately just extending the rears would cost the most!!! and i am on coilies getting some scrubbing, is it worth buying some strut braces to reduce roll & hopefully scrubbing?
