anyone know anywhere that sells rear wiper blank plates?

Or anywhere that sells something similiar that works?

i fancy de-wipering my GTi

will getting rid of the rear wiper fail an mot or is it illegal?

Just passed my MOT today without a rear wiper, so guess it won't fail, he didn't even mention it at all. Only thing he mentioned is that my tracking was wayy out you could see the wheels were bent :roll:

Venom Motorsport do a glass blanking piece. I think it looks much better than the rubber gromit things.

You have to call them for it as I don't think it's on there website. It was £23 i think.

looks like it's just got a couple of coats of lacquer on it to make it shiny, or is quite hard plastic which fit's perfectly?

well apparantly its glass, have to admit that does look good though, ties in really well with the black outline to the rear window 8)

It's actually glass. It's stuck in using some sort of black glue stuff and you seal it round the edges.

IMO I think it does look better than the rubber ones. Plus with the shiny rear windscreen it looks perfect,
