1) bigger injectors - Wrong, all PD injectors are the same
2) different turbo - Correct, PD100 is better imo, less lag
3) different rear lights - Yeah, but he's asking about engine stuff!
4) different engine map - Correct again, best bet is just get the PD100 Re-mapped. If you're feeling brave, fit some forge motorsport goodies.

this from another post on here, but I guess you can't believe everything you read
When I looked up the subject a while ago some of the info I found was that the 130/150 hp tdi's have a different turbo to the 100 hp engine. The 130 has a side mounted intercooler like the 100, but the 150 has a front mounted intercooler as standard, The 150/130 has stronger internals (con rods + Pistons i think) plus the injectors are larger, and usually the 130/150's are linked to a 6 speed gearbox.
Along with different ECU, there may be other small differences engine wise.
The only difference between the gt and the sport polo's was the engine, gearbox, seat fabric, silver dash trim, and a perforated leather steering wheel. I nearly bought one when i got my 1.9 sport, but the GT I looked at was not very well specced compared to car I bought.
