Wet floor behind drivers seat.
Wet floor behind drivers seat.
Hello VW Polo enthusiasts.
I have a 2002 year Polo SDI. The car is really good so far no huge repairs. However recently I noticed that when I remove my rubber carpet (the one which is in the left passenger side behind the drivers seat (I am from Latvia and as you might know the drivers seat is in the left side over here)) the floor is wet. I went to service and they tell me that I need to check my air system as it might be foul with leaves or something. I did it and it was OK. They answered that they don't know what is the problem and if I want they can check it but it will cost a lot of money. So maybe someone had the same problem and can help me or suggest what to do.
Looking forwards for help.
Thanks.

I agree and if there is no water coming out at the rear wiper then the washer pipe must have come off - as suggested earlier. Check the end of the rear wiper shaft, it should be hollow and its trim cover should have an open section to let the water spray out when the wiper switch is pushed away from the steering wheel - after the rear wiper is switched - against a return spring.Jamo wrote:If there is a wiper there should be a spray!
