Regretfully, I am thinking of selling my Polo GTi after I get a new clutch fitted.
What do you think is a fair asking price?

78k miles
12 months MOT
New front pads and discs
Cambelt changed at 65k miles
Rain sensitive wipers
Air con & sunroof
15" BBS RXIIs - All wheel rims recently refurbished

Lovingly cared for and in excellent condition!!
thats cool, and i know where your coming from! the dealers once left my car with oil all over the engine bay and a dent in either wing! i was not amused!
with the FSH then i think you will see closer to 5.5k

haha not for me thanks mate, still got loads to do to the Ibiza
advertise it the right way with some quality pics and you should have no problem getting a sale!
theres always people on here after un-molested, well looked after GTi with good service history. i'm sure yours will be right up their street!
if you were only selling 6 months earlier!!! i would've snapped it straight up, couldn't find a decent black 3 door anywhere..... so got a 5 door instead
I am thinking of moving over to a GTI but have seen quite a few GTI's with FSH around 57-65k miles for around £4k - £4.8 mark So 5.5k seems quite high from what I have seen but I have only just started looking at GTI's
To be honest I suspect that £5.5K is REALLY pushing it, and a price more in the ballpark of £4.5K - £4.8K is more realistic, even with the work you've done. Its what other have suggested as well recently.

Dont suppose any one wants to buy my polo? lol
I agree...the book price for the guys car is around £4,000 max...
It is well known that the parkers value is less than you can actually achieve. A decent GTi like TheEggShell's will fetch over £4k with ease. No more than £4.6k though IMO.
