Post by shantybeater »

Hey peeps, I watched my gti drive away yesterday...quite an emotinal experience, I really shouldnt get so attached to a piece of metal!

Thanks for the all help given out by everyone over the year on here, no doubt i'll be floating around and will be at some of the meets!

If you are interested check out the replacement in the clubhouse section

bit of a bargain, I swapped with the cupra, my polo & £350 for it as the cambelt needs doing and mine was top notch with cambelt done at vw and 60k service just done last month. Naturally the BBS RM's made a bit of difference as well.

Love it, you may see it at Sovag tonight! listen for a whooooooshhh pissshh haha

Nice!! Will look out for it later - the car I'm looking at is just over 200bhp standard so I'm looking at tuning to a similar power as yours eventually, rapidness!

It is, and the v6 is 204, more to gain from the 1.8t engine, but better stability on the 4mo.... decisions decisions!

*cough*R32*cough*

Didn't realise the V6 4motion was 204, but like you say the 1.8T is very tuneable.

I thought about an R32, but they are a fair bit more expensive and I want a car to mod a lot more than I did the Polo and theres not much I'd want to do to the R32!
