Is it a rockford fosgate....my one always used to do that. Its just a trickle circuit - the HU is off, just the time circuit stays on for convenience.

yeh i checked the manual, and it sed press and hold the big round volume button. but now when i do it, just the time shows.

sorry alex, wats a rockford fosgate? and do i just pull the face off then, the HU will not still be on wasting battery??

Thats a make :P As i said, its a trickle circuit so it wont drain the battery unless you leave it for weeks and weeks untouched :)

well guys, after 4 days of fixing in my HU, and that prob about if its wastes battery. well after 4days, i thought da battery wud be gone. but its fine. thx for the help guys.

and i know this is out of the topic, but i hav a 1.4cl polo, what does CL stand for and wat makes it different from a standard 1.4?

It basically means you have electric windows, central locking and power steering... correct me if i'm wrong someone, as i probably am! Check the MKIV FAQ
