Advice needed

Has anyone brought a head unit that is designed for the Ipod? im looking to get one and dont know which is best, any suggestions?

ive got an alpine one

model= cde-9850ri

had it about a year.no complaints so far.is also a single cd player

I agree with Pioneer or Alpine, I have a pioneer one which i bought from argos for £65 (half price offer), all i had to do was buy an extra cable which enabled me to control the ipod menu from the HU. The cable for the alpine one is £15 i believe, and the Pioneer one was about a fiver from good old fleabay.

i got a kenwood 1 that cost 180. its pretty cool, u want ipod interface? or just ipod compatiable?

Preferably i want one to interface with my ipod. I dont want to buy one and find out that the sound quality is rubbish or it is too hard to use in terms of accessing songs.

The full-speed iPod connection is seamless and works very well. I have the CDE-9881R in my car with the full-speed cable, and it's silky-smooth.

If you fancy splashing out a bit, the Alpine iDA-X001 is simply the best for full iPod integration:

Steer well clear of ones made by Sony. Their Xplop range is not very well regarded within car audio circles :)
