All polos come prewired for fog lights, and just requires a replacement headlight switch with fog option to activate them.

is this switch the same as the gti one? does it allow you to have the front fogs on without the side lights?

You can have fogs and sidelights, or fogs headlights and sidelights. There is no fog on its own option.
And yes it is the same. Its identical throughout the polo range in the 6n2s for all those fitted with fogs.

the kit from vagparts doesnt include the grills,
the fog set from vagparts is £98.78
and the grill set includes all three lower grills and from vagparts costs £30.33
