....but then this came along

It's a 1.8i 1991 scala. really straight and mint inside, just really need to sort out the wheels and a few wee silly bits.

The polo isn't going anywhere...........don't worry! They are nestled side by side in the driveway

fantastic car (touch wood) and a lot more economical than you'd think if you don't horse it! At the mo I'm getting about 4 or 5mpg less than the Polo urban but it is easier run on long journey's. Extremly comfortable and smooth 8) Just hope polo doesn't fall out with me :(

Amazing what difference a quick wash, new plates and a wee bit of paint in the wheels makes isn't it?

Love the wheels on the bug. are they old 5 or 4 stud (with beaauty rings)?....

you also need domed caps on them look much better than the later flatter ones(ie the ones on it)

Had 3 scirocco's now. White and a black Scala and a GT

Just watch the fuel filler neck/tank and fuel lines

Looks like new, now. People might think that Volkswagen has brought out a new model. 8)

Actually did get some new seats for the MK2.........and a new sunroof and bonnet!
This wee mk2 had only 30K on it and was scrapped due to a leaking tank! Had little else wrong. Guy I know bought itout of scrappy and then broke it. Seats had no wear at all just need a wee clean. It was the twin of mine, so didn't have to paint the bonnet!
