No it will not. Youll need either a dension ice adaptor, or the VW specified adapter as shown here:

Thats from where i used to work.
If your gonna do it, its best to do it properly.

CD player comes out with two keys - two thin strips of metal. Your local dealer/halfords should do it for nothing.

I must also make you aware that you cant use the CD changer after the iPod kit is installed.

it'l be chaper to put all my songs onto cd's.

or just buy one of them tpe convertor things :lol:

isn't there a cheaper option, like what i said?

Not on the VW HU, it doesnt have an auxiliary input. You could use an FM transmitter which is somehwat cheaper :P iTrips are very good :)
