boot

my boot light keeps coming on, then off and on..

it's getting anoying..

any ideas?

other than what i'm guessing is a dodgy sensor of some sort.. :S

and the light is for the boot unlocked..

not asctually OPEN isn't it?

are you meaning the dashboard light?

yeah, I'd say the sensor on the boot is playing up, not sure if it's the same one as for the actual light in the boot.....

that's the first thing to replace anyway, start with the cheap solutions!

i've tried by locking the car and just opening boot then letting it lock itself.

if it stull carrys on where de i find this sensor and what do you think is best to do?

can you explain exactly what is happening, the light on the dash is for the boot being open, not locked/unlocked.....

the light on the dash keeps coming on, some times staying on.

if i open the car (double press of open) the boot open an then the light is on.

but if i just press the button one to open drivers door the light isn't on.

it goes away if i lock the car.. open JUST the boot.. and close it so it locks automaticaly.

then jsut open the door as useual..
