9n3 mirrors onto a 9n

anyone fitted the new style mirrors with the indicators built in onto a 9n

if you have fitted them was the wiring straight forward

i looked into it and didnt really find much out about the wiring etc. but the price of the mk7 mirrors new is shockin, lookin around £250-£300 for everything

I looked into doing this modification last year and got the mirrors too but ended up not doing it and sold on the mirrors.

There will be some wires that will need to be swapped around and also you would need to extend the indicator wiring to go into the doors in order to make the mirror indicators work.

This is probably best done by just extending the wiring from the side repeaters and bringing it into the doors to avoid having redundant wires hanging about.

Hard to source but I picked up a set from a breakers yard in my paint code and in 'Brand New / blemish free condition for around £80 iirc.

Not exactly straightforward - does need some work.

a think they are a slightly diffrent size?? the front part is anyway
