My local parts supplier is not sure which sachs clutch I need for my polo...
They think I need "3000581001".....Is this correct, if not, does anyone have the sachs part number for the kit or parts?
Sachs clutch part number?
Both GFS and Euro car parts used to list one for the Polo GTI as a 210mm clutch.
This has been superseeded by Sachs, and now only lists one at 200mm stating 'Not for 1.6 16v'
I have spoken to Sachs who confermed this, but has said that this is the correct sachs part number for the Polo GTI Clutch kit.

Also to note, the release bearing/imput shaft housing bracket is rearlly poor.
If your changing the clutch its worth replacing this also.
