Yeah I use Villa - I'm a Villa fan so why not. I prefer to use them as it makes it a bit more of a challenge than using ManU and Chelsea all the while. Plus I know all the players so I know who's quick, who's got a good shot, etc.
One thing that really annoys me about playing it online, is people will always change their team to ManU, Liverpool, Chelsea, or Barcelona, which means I have to choose one of those or I haven't got a chance of beating them with Villa, as all their shots go on target and they are all much quicker.
- although you do get the odd team fan, who will pick their team and it makes it a much more enjoyable match for me, playing Villa vs Everton for instance
I read reviews that its full of bugs that make freeze up and stutter when playing it, and online play was just painfull 
. It's true about the PS3 version though, there are a few issues with it from what I've read.
