does anyone know how to program a flip key to my gti? its the same frequency as my key.

ill give it ago for u if u want with 5052 (vw diagnostic comp) were abouts r u?

im in the northeast is 5052 anything like vag com?

100 times better!
If u have the advance vagcom then u can do it (the one u had 2 payfor) then ill talk u though how 2 program keys and the codes u will need!
Im in south london so a bit far :(

that would be great as i get my new lead saturday already got software.
just loaded onto new laptop so will hope it works.

I find VAG-COM to be excellent, and Uwe actually bases his software on the 5052, by taking it apart and analysing it.

The only place where the 5052 excels IMO is guided fault finding.

The Polo doesn't have (46) Central Convenience Module, so it'll be interesting to see if it works. Also do both the remotes work on the same frequency?

The polo does have central convenience module - only the GTIs had this :P

Key programming will require the SKC from a dealer to access the immobiliser pairing functions - its freely available, but youll need to prove you own the car and all that stuff.

i have swapped the immobilizer chips its just the remote i need to programme. wots central convenience module?

Central convenience controls the central locking, leccy windows, alarm etcetc. You say you swapped the chips ... from what to what?

I wonder if this is the module I'm missing to get my standard alarm working/auto interior lights. My leccy windows and central locking work though

ive swapped the chip from my gti key with buttons on to a passat flip key.
