rear aero wiper

Post by mwarner87 »

i recently ordered one of these, i picked up today, fitted it and tried it, the blade is too big and wont go round the whole rear windscreen.. i measured it and its 280mm

i ordered this part number - 3C9 955 425

is this correct? or do i need to reorder?

thanks

You have to cut it to size I'm afraid, there is no direct swop

lol one day people will listen to me:P You do not have to cut the wiper. You just need to push the clip up the blade about an inch or so, so it is better positioned against the glass when on the arm

there is a kind of indentation on the wiper where the clip is supposed to go, does it move much if its moved up?

ye what i did was just didnt use it for like a week to see how i'd cope. you adjust really quickly!

plus if it really does get too dirty back there, you know your due for a clean!!

theres never a time when i think 'ah if only i had my rear wiper  '
