hey guys.

i would like to get one of those red front grill trims that some of you have that come from the new Golf GTI. I have been looking for one but cant find one. Any ideas?????????

The trim is a tape you buy from halfords in the style section or similar. It can also be red insulation tape ;)

The only thing id say is with it on a red car, it looks a little odd. I tried it on mine, and it was too red.

it's called redline tape. I'd recommend getting it instead of using insulation tape, for it has a glossyer appearance and is exactly the right width. costs bout £3

maybe on a black and silver gti, but not a red one :?

i was going to colour code it black. Do they do the tape in black??

Huh, i am totally confused aswell now....... :lol:

So what do you want to do? By the sounds of it you want to either put red or black tape on the grille???

imo, wouldnt that be totally pointless.....since the car is red, you wont see it anyway, and the em the grille is already black. Why put black grille tape on a black grille?

Just a little confused here :lol:

Agree with you phil - black on black is rather pointless. White stripe may look effective ;)

Where can i get it from?? Am thinking of doing a white trim on the interior too now. lol

umm again look at trim tape in halfords, i'm not sure but i think they do a variety of colours
