Death Proof!

Post by vwdan »

Hey
Just watched Death Proof! Anyone on here seen it? Opinions?

I didnt think it was too bad. I enjoyed it! Not tarantinos best work but I wouldnt say it was a total disaster!!

i thought it was pretty crap,

the effort they put into making the continuity deliberately bad was shockingly pathetic,

dialogue wasn't bad though

its no Kill Bill or Pulp Fiction although in some ways I felt Kill Bill 2 was a bit of a let down especially after the first one.

there was the whole "grindhouse" effect going on in it! I think its average. Like I said, I didnt mind it. I noticed a lot of other tarantino references in it!

The other film... Planet Terror by Robert Rodriguez looks good though!

yeh yeh i was aware of that lol, i think it was done really badly though.

Was vastly disappointed with planet terror too, a 'low budget' film with a ridiculously expensive helicopter fight scene at the end? didnt do it for me, bad as it was i prefer death proof.

Really??! I not seen Planet Terror. The woman with the gun for a leg looked a bit corny but at times I dont mind that lol

I didnt think the grindhouse look in death proof was that bad. You could tell it was fake and at times it was a bit annoying. I think the soundtrack boosted the style of the film slightly too. I was a little let down by it especially considering it being a Tarantino film!

His next film betta be good!!!
