german surrounds

i have fixed these onto both the front and the back of my car, i cant get the bottom off to change the plate over to a german style pressed one,

anyone know how to get it off?

sorry, what 'bottom' are you referring to?

where the writing part clips in, hold the registration plate onto the surround!!

i dont know how to describe, you get that?

So you have German surrounds already on your car, with normal plates, and are trying to get the plates off the surrounds to put the German pressed plates on?

where did u get the plate surrounds from? i got mine from dubmeister and they came with a "key" which is actually attached to the back of the surround.
to the right hand side of the surround there should be a kind of indent in the plastic. this is where the key is used to lever against the plate and pop the surround off.

mine are just snapped into position use a flat headed screw driver in the middle and pull gently towards you and be careful or it will break
