VAG-COM - Which Connection & Where?

Post by ihpj »

As I'm off to the US in a couple of months, I intend to buy a genuine Ross Tech VAG-COM cable while I'm out there.

Can someone please advise me what sort of connection the Polo 9N has (and where it is located) so that I can buy the right cable for the car and know where it should be plugged in ;)

Many thanks ...

The Polo 9N uses the standard VAG connector - and its located above your knees on the driver's side. Personally, I'd buy the version that covers "CAN" cars as I think that this version is backwards compatible and should future-proof you. Maybe check some of the UK VAG-COM sellers web pages for further advice, for instance www.ilexa.co.uk otherwise known as www.onboarddiagnostics.co.uk
