Only 51K Genuine mileage

5 doors
Automatic so very easy to drive and quick off the mark
Dragon green
Full service history. With VW up to 3/4 years ago and serviced by a local garage every 12 months.
2 previous owners. Last was my mum who had it from 1 year old, and registered to me 2 years ago.
Lots of receipts and has been well looked after.
Slide/Tilt sunroof
Front electric windows
Electric heated mirrors
Power steering
Adjustable steering column/wheel
Alarm/immobiliser with remote central locking (fitted as standard)
Driver airbag and full passenger glove box
Sony Xplod Flip down (2 sided) cd Stereo - with remote
RAINBOW-SLX265 - front component speakers (cost around £129 2 months ago)
Lupo GTI alloy wheels (Bathurst’s) with locking nuts -- Toyo tyres on front and standard Dunlop’s on back
Headlight protectors
VW boot liner
Original VW Mats which clip into the floor
Front and rear fog lights - with 2 option light switch.
Clear indicators and repeaters with silvatec bulbs
Comes with everything usual such as spare space saver wheel, jack, wrench, haynes etc and is overall very good condition etc
Never had any problems with 10 years of owning and is a very good example and well kept. Only selling to get a bigger car.

Taxed until end of may 2008

MOT till 13th march 2008 but should sail through.

Based in Colchester, although sometimes go down to south london so could arrange something

Looking for 1550 ono -- going by the price guide on whatcar/autotrader etc with automatic and low mileage should be around 1800

Just thought I'd share this with you ...

I have just sold my mothers 1996 'P' Golf 1.8GL Auto (also in Met. Dragon Green) for £1550. It took 4 weeks to sell, in the end it went via private for sale ad. in local paper. The car had covered a genuine 48K from new, having had a total of 2 owners (incl. my Mother) and FULL VW Main Dealer S/H.

I was surprised it took that long...but this time of year is very slow to sell cars. FYI it was advertised for £1595.

I think yours is a very good example (clean and straight) for a Polo of similar age. Stick with it, it will sell. You just need someone who is looking for that car specifically to see it and buy it.

thanks very much for the advice. yeah i guessed it wasnt the best time of year with christmas just over. I will put ads in local papers when i get a chance.
