as for fitted, i'd imagine it'd need cutting down in the middle and on the ends to make it fit nicely as a mk3 polo is a fair amount narrower than a golf! i'd imagine its screwed or pot riverted to the bottom of the mk3 polo bumper. the thing that i'm not sure of is if you have to cut off the clips which hold the splitter onto the front of a golf! there are several locating clips which are all part of the splitter that clip into the bumper on the golf!
drop it all the way you no you wanna. but 40mm will be driveable.
heres a pic of mine with a 60 front and 80 rear drop on the back. the back rubs a bit. plus also take in to consideration wat wheels your gonna put on it. oh by the way lets see some pics of the mk3
ditching it in the summer once i finish my new bumper! might stick it onthe gt though! what bumpers are on your white one? they aftermarcket ones or just smoothed? like the wheels! i used to have a set myself, they werent as shiney though
you should see the roads where i live, some have grass growing up the middle of them! a 40mm drop is un-noticeable, it wont look lowered at all! 60 is the best drop to go for if the roads are a bit rough. my g40 is 40mm on the front and somewhere between 70 and 80 on the back. i didnt want to go low for the same reasons as you, but i know want to drop the front down another 30mm!
i had a 30 to 40 mm on my old blue mk3, it just didn't seem low enough on 15's! if i were to do it again, i A) wouldn't get 15's and B) go for a 60mm drop!
that G40 looks evil with those slights and splitter!
Ahh the smoked inpro lights, may i ask where you got them and how much mate as iam buying the same ones for my red GT but been quoted £179 delivered at moment...i'm sure i can find em cheaper (i hope)
