Oil Filter O-Rings

Hi - this is my first post here so apologies if someone else has asked this before.

I am in the process of performing an oil service on the 9N and have arrived at the Oil Filter. Looking in the box supplied with the oil filter, VW have only supplied the main O-Ring (to go around the filter cap), but on the plastic dipstick (which goes through the oil filter), there are two smaller O-Rings which VW have not supplied.

My question is - do these smaller O-rings need to be replaced on every oil service ? If so, I assume these should be in the oil filter box ? Or do VW supply these seperately from the Oil Filter itself ?

they dont need to be changed just the big main one at the top as it can be damaged when taking the plastic cap off
