has anyone considered changing the standard wing mirrors to m3 ones, can it be done?

You are driving the 9N right?

It shouldnt be a problem, my mate has got the 6N2 and it fitted fine on that! its just the attachment u need correct. :wink:

I think the M3 Mirrors are a bit too small! will take a while getting used to them!

I want to get the Phaeton Wing mirrors on my 9N! they are schweet!! 8)

Ooooo, supprisingly I like these alot :P though I think there would be muchos amounts of wiring to link the indicator lights up too :P

ye they are nice juss like the new golf mirrors.
do u know which type of m3 mirros i will need, the 3 wire ones or 4 wires.

Speaking of wires, i want to pop on some nice dtm mirrors on me polo
( when i get it )
and i not a clue if i need 2 wires or 3 for when i ordered um from venom?
( i mean i can pop one off before i order and see but to save time and hasel any one know?, its a 99 6n )

your probably better off asking that question in the mark IV section.....how many after market mirrors can you get that are electric AND heated??

ya i was going to but i saw he was on about mirrors here so save haveing someone answer it tiwce i thought i mite as well ask here and save hasel.

far as i know the only m3 type mirrors that are heated are made by the company that make the m3 mirrors fro the m3 :?
ohand they cost about £600 :o
