Indicator Stalks/ Cruise Control

Post by Hamish »

Right. The trip computer switch is a bit sticky so im thinking of replacing the RHS indicator stalk.

Looked in Haynes cant see the answer unless im looking under the wrong section :?

Is tis fairly easy job to do or is it steering wheel off etc etc. A method or any hints and tips would be very usefull.

Also. Are the LHS and RHS stalk units individual or are they one unit as im thinking about retro fitting cruise control 8)

Both stalks are individual and cruise can be retro fitted (just done it on my Golf)

It is a steering wheel off job to do though.

is cruise just a plug and play stalk then or does it need setting up with vagcom or similar then?

i assume the process for the 9n and 9n3 would be the same
