oem sharan stubby aeriel, brand new never fitted

Post by nogwuy »

as above, bought from dealership for my 6n2 but the thread is too wide. dont think it will fit any cars older than mine. its from a 2005 sharan so if your car is newer than that may fit? anyway its the wider thread type whichever cars have that in the aerial base?

would have got my money back but they had to order it so wouldnt give me a refund even though i told them what car i wanted to put it on!!!

it was £27 ish but will take £25 posted. pm your paypal and ill send a request. cheers.

My bro done mine for me. You'd better off asking him. He's username is GTI V.

l200ny_k : - The ariels your selling, are they OEM ariels? Or are they made by a company begining with the letter F. IIRC I read on another forum about these ariels. Think they might have come from America or something like that and are not OEM.

i did ask him, but like you said somewhere else i think he is pretty busy most of the time and i didnt get a reply. someone mentioned drilling the base but i dont really fancy that as if i cock it up (most likely) i wont be able to use any aeriel! i looked into changing the whole base but vw want around £45 + vat and i dont really want to faf around with removing the head lining etc just for an aeriel!

thats why its for sale

anyone interested? just realised its actually from a 2003 sharan if that makes any differace?!
