Disgrace!

Post by ciden »

I've now joined those of you disgraced with your cars, because of poor built quality! I'm seriously considering selling the car, as it's year is almost up - and getting a new Mini.

The rear discs now make an aweful noise when I reverse and brake - irratating! When I park the car, and switch it off, there's this screatching sound that comes from the right rear side - I think it's the motor or pin that locks the petrol cap whilst the car is moving. The rattles - don't get me started on those - there's like 3 areas in the dash where they now come from - main culpret I think, is the panel located between the windscreen and the actual dash itself.

When I drive, sometimes a cluttering noise comes from the back. I've checked everything in the boot - even took the spare wheel and the toolkit out - still the same - where's it coming from??

The drivers seat now makes a noise when you get in - but this is something I'm not so concerned about, as one of my previous Clio's did the same - it's because of the vinal surrounds on the seats that comes in contact with the plastic parts.

When I shut the drivers door, there's this rattling sound that's emmitated from the front fender - I've given up looking for it.

The car's going to the dealers soon for it's 15000 km service, and they better sort everything out before I take the car back!!! That's final...
(excuse my poor spelling, as I'm in a really bad mood right now!)

I think it's the heat shield over the exhaust's rear box. I get this all the time. :(

A lot of rear clonking can be caused by the rear tailgate. I think it can be adjusted which is what I am going to do soon, maybe the rear shelf too?
